BB-8 needs no introduction, or at least he shouldn’t. Actually, is BB-8 a he or she? Hard to tell.
When it comes to the wrist, we usually cover smartwatches, smart analog watches and stuff related to the connected self. In this case though, how could we resist featuring Nixon’s new BB-8 watch.
There are four BB-8 watches in the collection, inspired by the droid’s resolute character and iconic white, silver and orange colors.
BB-8 Unit
The BB-8 Unit digital watch has an LCD display, temperature gauge, countdown timer, light functions, six color combos, and a 44mm polycarbonate case with a 10 ATM water-resistant rating. $150 USD or £150 in the UK.
The BB-8 Unit digital is my favorite because it looks the most similar to the loyal little droid.
BB-8 Time Teller
The BB-8 Time Teller analog watch uses Miyota Japanese quartz movement. It comes in nine color combos and has a 37mm stainless steel case with a 10 ATM water-resistant rating. $125 USD or £100 in the UK.
BB-8 Time Teller Deluxe
The BB-8 Time Teller Deluxe uses Miyota Japanese quartz movement. It comes in 2 color combos and has a 37mm stainless steel case with a 10 ATM water-resistant rating. This model features two extra sub dials for the date and day of the week. $175 USD or £150 in the UK.
BB-8 Time Teller Chrono
The BB-8 Time Teller Chrono is the most expensive of the bunch. It uses Miyota Japanese quartz movement, comes in 4 color combos and has a 39mm stainless steel case with a water-resistant rating of 10 ATM. The Chrono features a 6 hand chronograph and three sub dials for the date, day of the week and 24 hour time. $250 USD or £190 in the UK

The Nixon BB-8 watch collection is a novelty, for sure. But they’re also pretty fine and high-quality timepieces..
