Misfit have introduced their new fitness tracker, the Misfit Ray. The new wearable has been designed with equality between fashion and function. Its spring bar attachment system allows it to be worn with pretty much any standard fashion accessory, such as watch straps, necklaces and bracelets.
Onboard the Misfit Ray is a 3-axis accelerometer. It will track your steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, sleep duration and sleep quality. Like previous Misfit wearables, you can tag different activities so you get a more accurate calories and points score. The activities include: running, walking, cycling, swimming, dancing, tennis and yoga.
The charming new wearable has a multi-color LED display so you can easily keep tabs of your progress towards your daily goals. Misfit have changed things up a tad in terms of the display, the 12 LED circular affair used on the Misfit Shine and Flash has morphed into a rectangular bar that lights up different colors: red, orange, yellowish-green, and white when you reach your goal.
There’s a vibration feature that will buzz you when you receive an incoming call or text message. Also, the LED display lights up when you receive a notification: green for calls and blue for texts. The vibration feature also buzzes you for movement reminders and can be used as a silent alarm.
As well as activities, sleep and notifications, the new Misfit Ray uses a Smart Button feature and works with the IFTTT intergrated Misfit Link app which allows the fitness tracker to be used as remote control for smartphone’s camera and music player, presentation slides, and you can cook up recipes to control your smarthome devices.
The Misfit Ray is made from aircraft-grade anodized aluminum and comes in Carbon Black or Rose Gold. The Misfit App is compatible with iOS 7 + / Android 4.3 + / Windows 8.1 +. The Misfit Link app is compatible iOS 8.0 + / Android 4.3 + / Windows 10 + (Bluetooth 4.0). You can also access your Misfit dashboard on your Desktop/Laptop.
The 6 month battery life ubiquitous with Misfit wearables has been continued with the Ray – happy days if you’re tired of charging your gadgets or all your USB ports are occupied.
The Misfit Ray will be shipping in the Spring of 2016 with a price of $99.99. It can be pre-ordered now from the Misfit website.

So I haven’t taken the m pins out yet, but I’m skeptical that you could fit some paracord behind those m spring pins. If you look at the pictures of the sports band that everyone wants, they aren’t using the normal spring pins.. there’s a plastic piece that is sticking out of the Ray.
If I said I knew exactly what you mean I wouldn’t be telling the truth..
