Swiss Horological Smartwatches Notifications Update

Swiss made hybrid smartwatches of the finest quality from Alpina and Frederique Constant now support smart notifications from 18 of the best apps.

Alpina and Frederique Constant Swiss smartwatches, a.k.a. Horological smartwatches offer a mix of connectivity and the attention to detail of a luxury Swiss made timepiece. In the past however, they have been limited as to what they offer in terms of smart notifications.

A recent update announced by Alpina and Frederique Constant means the Swiss made smart analog watches can now deliver notifications from many of the most popular apps.

The update covers both the MMT software and the watch’s firmware and users can now enable or disable the app notifications based on personal preference.

With their watches connected via Bluetooth to a compatible smartphone, Horological smartwatch owners can now choose to receive wrist-based notifications from 18 of the best apps, including social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram. Messaging apps such as Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Snapchat and WeChat. The update also includes support for taxi guru app Uber and the place-to-be music app Spotify. There’s also support for Gmail and Google Inbox, as well as incoming calls and text messages.

Alpina and Frederique Constant Horological smartwatches are compatible with iOS and Android and the notifications update is available for both operating systems.
