The Kronaby hybrid watch collection for women and men..
Kronaby, the Swedish watch-making startup with sights set on competing with the top brands, lived up to the pledge of unveiling their connected watches before the end of January.
The Kronaby hybrid watch collection consists of four unisex models: Apex, Sekel, Nord, and Carat. the watch cases are made from stainless steel, and come in 38mm or 43mm sizes. There are plenty of colors to choose from, including silver, gold, rose gold, and black. There’s also a variety of metal and leather straps.
Below are the Kronaby Apex and Sekel..
Kronaby have a lot of catching up to do in terms of brand awareness compared to many other of the other hybrid watch makers; Fossil, Timex to name a few. However when it comes to features, these watches are ahead of their famous rivals.
Below are the Kronaby Carat and Nord..
They are equipped with fitness tracking capabilities so you can keep an eye on your steps taken, goals, etc. There’s a vibrating alarm and Move Reminder to prompt you to get off your hind after long periods of inactivity.
Smart notifications are one of wearable tech’s more useful features. The Kronaby hybrid watch will buzz you when someone (or something) is getting in touch, plus you can filter the notifications so only the important ones get through. The stylish smart analog watches also offer a Call Decline feature which allows you to reject an incoming call with a sweet and simple tap.
SOS alerts have become a sought after feature in the domain of wearables. The Kronaby hybrids have you covered. By pushing one of the buttons on the side, the connected watch will send an SOS message and your GPS location to your pre-selected contacts.
There’s more.. These hybrid talents offer a GeoTag feature which enables you press a button on the watch to tag your location, just in case you get lost in a new city, or wherever else on Earth you end up.
Remote control over your smartphone’s camera and music from your wearable is a pretty handy ingredient. Again, these watches have you covered. I almost forgot; there’s also a phone finding feature.
Sapphire crystal protects the stylish dial and the watches are water-resistant up to 100 meters. The companion app is compatible with Android 5.0 + and iOS 9.0 +. The watches range in price from £355 to £505 GBP. The Apex is the most expensive and the Sekel the most stylish, for me anyway.
