The JUNO smart makeup mirror features adjustable lighting and hues to help you achieve a better look based on your environment.

According to the makers of the JUNO smart mirror; as many as 70% of women are applying makeup using incorrect lighting. If this is true, it goes without saying, there’s obviously room for improvement.

The intelligent mirror connects to a companion smartphone app which controls the different lighting settings. Around the edge of the mirror is a light ring that emits the appropriate light to suit your makeup preferences. The default settings are: sunlight, daylight, and evening light. You can also save your preferred light and hue settings for future use.

There are three touch buttons on the mirror face: The top one is for adjusting the lighting. The middle one is your selfie setting – ideal lighting for Instagram or Snapchat photos. The mirror also converts into a bedside lamp and has a reading light setting which can be activated by pressing the third button.

The JUNO mirror is small and portable enough for you can take with you on your travels. It’s due to launch on Kickstarter on December 5th with an early bird price of $39 USD – down from the $79 retail price.

JUNO isn’t the only connected beauty gadget in the news recently. The latest Panasonic smart mirror has also been catching headlines.

In the coming years, every smart person with a smart bedroom or smart bathroom inside their smart home will be able to sit in front of a smart mirror to see how smart they look.. That’s pretty smart.
