Forecasts for the wearable tech market have been looking promising recently, but according to this report from BI Intelligence one of the big names in the industry has seen a decline in sales in 2017 compared to previous years.

The report says that Fitbit shipped around 3.6 million devices in Q3 of 2017, in comparison to 5.3 million shipped in Q3 of 2016. It also says that despite Fitbit’s efforts to bring new devices to market, notably their flagship smartwatch the Ionic, the device that’s raking in the most sales is still the Charge 2 which was released in 2016.
