Designer wearables are here to tech up fashion forever more.
The latest fashion-focused wearable tech is a collaboration between fitness tracking leaders, Fitbit and the New York fashion label, Public School, who have designed two swanky accessories for the Fitbit Alta.
Fitbit + Public School Axis Band
The more pricey of the two designer wearable tech accessories is the Axis Band. It is styled the same as a watch, except the Fitbit Alta tracking module fits horizontally into the space that would normally be occupied by a screen.
The Axis is made of stainless steel and is advertised as one-size-fits-most. It only comes in a hand-polished stainless steel color.
Limited numbers of the Axis will be available, and they’re likely to sell out pretty quick. It’s available to pre-order now for $295 USD and £259.95 in the UK. It will be shipping in early November.
Fitbit + Public School Type III Paracord Bracelet
The Paracord Bracelet is cheaper than the Axis, but still comes with a designer price tag. The rugged, military-inspired Paracord features a braided black bracelet and a metal clasp with an inset Public School New York motif.
It’s only available in black and is advertised as one-size-fits-most. The same deal as the Axis – it’s a limited edition and is going to be be popular. The Paracord is available to pre-order now for $175 USD and £149.95 in the UK. It will be shipping in early November.
The Fitbit Alta, Which the accessories are designed for, is not included in the prices. The Alta stars at $129.95 USD and £99.99 in the UK.
If you’re looking to spice up your fitness tracking with the limited edition Public School New York accessories, head over to Fitbit to pre-order before they get snapped up.
